My imperfect owl would've been a second entry for November's contest. But it wasn't to be . . .

Nevertheless, this refrigerator magnet has been with me for years, moving every time I did. Along the way its nose got broken and the end of its branch sheared off. But blotches notwithstanding, this owl is special. Owls have long held a mystique for me and more than once I have stood and stared at this one.
