Should 'Baby It's Cold Outside' be banned?

I was thinking of putting up the Doris Day - Bing Crosby version but then remembered it's a now controversial song.
I like it. It reminds me of the great effort I had to put in when I was courting my wife, but others may disagree.

Any thoughts?

Dr. Gottlieb says vaccine makers think 3 shots will protect us

from Omicron. Some people don't like him but I've found him to be reliable and he was CT governor Ned Lamont's chief advisor on Covid. He said on Face the Nation he's talked to vaccine makers and they are reasonably sure the three shot vaccine regime should protect us against Omicron.
So it's time to schedule that booster if you haven't done so already.

Covid cases dropping in US?

I'm not a statistitian by any means, by I did take a look at the chart for US cases in the NYT and noticed what looked like a drop in US cases. I crossed checked with worldometer on the numerical reports of daily cases. For a while there we were averaging near 100000 cases a day but for I think the last 5 days the numbers were substantially less. I looked at the state listings in the NYT and a lot of the recently hard hit states in the west and the Dakota's were showing significant declines.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought I'd mention it and risk being the bearer of good news.

Pfizer CEO confident Covid pill will be effective against Omicron

It was designed to anticipate spike variants:

Bill Ackman says Omicron could be bullish for markets.

I don't think Ackman is the brightest bulb on Broadway but he could be on to something:

What Countries Like, and Dislike about the U.S.

They love our technology and popular culture. Our healthcare and version of democracy? Not so much.

But we're doing a bit better with Joe.

Turmoil at Politico!

A really long article in the Daily Beast today about the inner workings of Politico and Politico Playbook in particular. I post it because I know Politico is the favorite reading material for everyone at DU.

Meanwhile back to Murdaugh.

The numbers are adding up to 5 million with rumors that more charges are coming. I have no idea what's going on but it's a whole lot more than a pill problem.
