Hospital situation with Omicron in the UK.

This guy is a big cheese with the provider organizations (like hospitals) for the UK National Health Service. This long thread is being retweeted by everyone in the UK. At least it seems that way;

I'll try to synthesize a little. System is not overwhelmed with numbers. A lot of incidental cases of people coming in for other reasons and testing positive. No big demand for oxygen as in other waves
System strain at the moment is because of health professionals being out presumably because of testing positive. Still early.
At least that's what I get out of it.
