Across-the-Desk's JournalICYMI: Across the Desk - S6:E2 (OK U.S. House Reps Vote 'No' On 2 Important Bills)
Two bipartisan bills passed the U.S. House of Representatives last week. One respects the marriage of citizens who marry those they love. Be it interracial, homosexual, or even interfaith. And another that protects the right for adult, tax paying, free American citizens to access birth control, including information on birth control. Well, the Oklahoma House delegation all voted 'NO' on these bills... But there is good news in all of this, as these two bipartisan bills PASSED the House and are likely to pass the Senate and be signed into law... Protecting marriage and contraception for all American citizens....

And when there are only 47 nay votes out of near 220, that tells you exactly just how extreme and radical the conservative delegation from Oklahoma really is. But there is good news in all of this, as these two bipartisan bills PASSED the House and are likely to pass the Senate and be signed into law... Starting up Season 6 and first up we have
The OKGOP and revelations over the past couple of weeks with Sen James Lankford saying 13 year olds can consent to sex and the Oklahoma College Republican President getting arrested for lewd acts with a minor.. The OKGOP has a pervert problem...
Million-Dollar Settlement For Oklahoma County Inmate Death Will Raise Property Taxes
Thank you Clay Bennett, The Greater OKC Chamber and the OK County Jail Trust... The neo-fascism (the merger of commerce and government) experiment that is going to cost the property owners of OK County higher property taxes over the next 3 years.... Way to go Conservatives! You found a way to increase taxes through a major fiasco.... Because I am pretty sure, when the Sheriff was in charge of the jail.. This stuff did not happen...
(This is why a 25% turnout for voting gets you the government you deserve...)

S6:E1 (The OKGOP Has A Pervert Problem)
What's the big news in Oklahoma over the past few weeks? That would be Conservative pedophiles. One Oklahoma College Republican President has been arrested for lewd acts with a minor, while a deposition of Sen. James Lankford from 2010 surfaces about his assertion that a 13 year old can consent to sex... And all this just a few years after a (R) Oklahoma Senator, Ralph Shorty, was convicted of meeting a minor in Moore, OK hotel room to have sex and smoke weed.... The OKGOP has a pervert problem...
