I believe votes are either 5 minute or 15 minute votes in the House.

Vote can be held open for procedural reasons, I think, unless that's in the Senate.

Don't know why those 2 members wanted to be removed as co-sponsors. Wondered about that myself.

I stopped listening after hearing Mara Liasson

toss off the phrase 'Democratic bedwetting" in her usual smarmy tone sometime around the 2016 or 2018 elections. David Plouffe first used the term in 2008. but I heard it first on NPR and that was enough for me.

In the House proxy voting is allowed.

A designated member can vote on behalf of another member who is unable to be there in person.

Not so in the Senate, however.

"Please release me, let me go."
