I know it takes advertisement to keep this site up. But when a person visits DU and is not a Star member then they get pop up videos. If you try to hit the X button most of the time it takes you to the ad web page and doesn't close the video. Also if you close the video then in a few seconds a new ad video pops up. It makes the DU site unreadable in a smart phone.
Just an observation.
Does any one use the Dexcom G7 Continious Gluclose Monitor here?
I have found that with my accu-check Guide Me finger prick meter the Dexcom CGM is 60 to 100 units higher. I may just dump the Dexcom meter. If my glucose is 90 and the Dexcom is 180 I may overdose on insulin and have a low blood sugar event. Thanks for any input.
CIGNA Health Insurance wants to sell it's Medicare Advantage plan to non-profit health insurer HCSC.
They say that Medicare Advantage is a money losing proposition. The sale is planned for 2025 if regulators approve it. The story is at WSJ.COM

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee that Sanders chairs voted 15-6 to confirm Dr. Monica Bertagnolli, with five Republicans, including the panel’s ranking member Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, joining all 10 Democrats.
Democrats rejected Sanders’ case, that Bertagnolli had not demonstrated she would “take on the greed and power of the drug companies and health care industry and fight for the transformative changes the NIH needs at this critical moment.”
