Elon Musk on Sunday deleted a tweet he posted earlier in the day espousing a conspiracy theory about an assault on Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

Musk had shared a link to an article detailing a right-wing conspiracy about the circumstances of the attack, which drew wide condemnation, from a website known for repeatedly publishing stories that are false.

Truss phone hacked by Putin spies for top secret information

LIZ Truss's personal phone was hacked by agents suspected of working for Russian President Vladimir Putin. They gained access to top-secret details of negotiations with key international allies - as well as private messages she exchanged with her close friend Kwasi Kwarteng, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

The hack was discovered during the summer Tory leadership campaign, when Ms Truss was Foreign Secretary, but the details were suppressed by the then Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Cabinet Secretary Simon Case.

One source said the phone was so heavily compromised that it has now been placed in a locked safe inside a secure government location.

It is understood that the messages that fell into foreign hands included criticisms of Mr Johnson made by Ms Truss and Mr Kwarteng, leading to a potential risk of blackmail. Sources said that up to a year's worth of messages were downloaded.

Chuck Schumer said that our early vote turn out in Georgia is huge (making big emphasis in huge), CNN, Washington Post, The Hill etc, blast headlines selectively cropping the part where he said something about the race "going downhill".
Obviously, the part about huge early turnout wouldn't generate frantic clicks and retweets from millions of right wing nuts, so they go without it.

Trump taunts DeSantis, sharing video claiming Fl Gov would be destroyed trying to run against him

Former President Donald Trump took a shot at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on his Truth Social platform, amid speculation the pair will be leading rivals in the battle for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

In the post, Trump shared a clip of podcaster and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly being interviewed by BlazeTV host Dave Rubin about a potential Trump-DeSantis showdown.

"The only way DeSantis is going to become the Republican nominee is if Trump chooses not to run and endorses him or dies," she remarks in the clip, saying that hardcore MAGA supporters would never abandon Trump.
