Musk viewed unfavorably in US in numerous polls
An AP-NORC poll last week is the latest among several surveys that have shown Musk’s image deteriorating in recent months, to the point where 36 percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of him and 52 percent had an unfavorable one.
That negative 16-point split was down from minus 10 (41-51) last month.
That poll is generally among the worst for Republicans, but it’s the fourth poll of late to show Musk’s image underwater by double digits. And virtually every poll that has tested Musk repeatedly shows him losing at least some ground.

Donald Trump has urged Egypt and Jordan to take in most of the population of Gaza, saying it was time to “clean out” the territory in comments that are likely to outrage Palestinians and Arabs across the region.
“I’d like Egypt to take people. And I’d like Jordan to take people,” the US president told reporters aboard Air Force One. “You’re talking about a million and half people, and we just clean out that whole thing.”

But it sure looks like he is following the plan. So, somebody is telling him what to do in order to end freedom and Democracy in the USA.
For 125 years, Democrats win the White House when...
one of two things happen. In almost every case, the Dems win election to the White House (incumbents don't count) when the Republican base is split by a viable third-party candidate (1912 and 1992) or when there is a catastrophic event created or worsened by a Republican President and policies (1932, 2008, 2020). We seldom take over from a stable Republican administration (1960 is an exception).
I think, unfortunately, there will be a catastrophic event during the next 4 years. God help us.

Is America reverting to 1,000 years ago?
It has always been my understanding that in Western Culture no person could be arrested in a church. Robin Hood, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Three Musketeers and many other fictional and historical stories always made this case as plain fact.
With the latest announcement that US ICE agents are authorized to arrest undocumented immigrants and refugees in American churches move Trump's America back to pre-medieval days.

Donald Trump's pardons are a dangerous gamble. If any one of these criminals commits any crime, Trump will be held accountable. But even worse, if one of them is involved in political violence that results in serious injury or death to an opponent it will prove disastrous for him.
Biden Did Not Pardon Murderers
I've been watching MAGA cult elected officials lying in interviews on cable networks about President Biden pardoning murders. These lies are left unrefuted by the interviewers, even on CNN. What Joe Biden did was commute death sentences to life in prison. These criminals will never see the light of day. These were not pardons. Many people, and almost every allied country in the world, does not permit the death penalty for any crimes. Joe Biden has a problem with the death penalty, but his commutation of the death row sentences to life in prison without parole, does not put the public in jeopardy. It is not the equivalent of Trump putting very dangerous criminals back on the street with no restrictions, including purchasing and carrying weapons.

from Vladimir Lenin: "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them."
It may not be Russian Communists that fulfill this prediction, but it may be the Chinese Communists instead.
