We've heard the expression 'scared straight'...well in 2024, we'd better be scared BLUE!

The growing threat of white supremacism and fascism that may hijack this country is not a laughing matter. We've been feeling relatively safe for nearly four years as a democratic nation with Biden as President. But he will very likely be challenged in 2024 by a vengeful, crazed, serially indicted, hate filled narcissist.
I must clearly say that I am terrified.
Our votes will be like lifeboats from a sinking Titanic.

Djt has clearly shown that, unless he wins, he cannot accept the results of democratic elections...

That's why he should be disqualified from democratic elections.
Well, in a healthy, functional democracy, he would be.

Should Biden hold a State of the Union Address before late 2024?

That might be a vehicle through which he could strongly and publicly remind the country of his past years of defending democracy here and with our international allies. He should highlight the importance of free and fair elections and peaceful transfer of power. He should strongly advise adherence to the Constitution.

He could emphasize the challenges to democracy his political opponents present by denying abortion rights, LGBQ peoples' rights and safety, Social Security, health coverage and care, immigrants' rights and safety, religious freedom and climate change action.

Among his honored guests could be:
- the women who had to travel out of their home states to get medically necessary abortions;
- the hostages who were released during the Israel-Hamas war and their families;

Trump now claims he 'knows nothing about Hitler' ...

"First of all, I know nothing about Hitler. I’m not a student of Hitler. I never read his works,” djt says.
Except that a few years ago he said 'Hitler did some good things'...
...and kept 'Mein Kampf' on a table by his bed, according to ex-wife Ilana.
But djt doesn't need to read Hitler's words.
He's channeled the Furor throughout his political career.

this is no longer my country.
I've lived here for 74 years, but I'll be inclined to renew my passport and move out.

Re: Biden vs. DjT in 2024... remember:

During the 2020 election period...

- Jan. 6th hadn't yet happened;

- DjT's ever growing cache of hidden and missing classified docs hadn't yet been discovered;

- DjT had still not been impeached 2x or been 4x indicted.

Any 2024 debates between two polar opposites (DjT vs. Biden) in the competition for the presidency will present a clear decision. Age will become trivial when intelligence, political experience, diplomacy, human dignity and grasp of reality will be as clear to the American viewing audience as the events of 1.6.21.

This may be the political scenario in 2024: Our 2024 presidential candidates may both be women...

If (and hopefully when) djt faces so many indictments and likely convictions between today and the 2024
nominations for president that he will lose so much support, he would no longer be the nominee...in which case N. Haley may become the repub candidate.

Pres. Biden, seeing that djt would no longer be his opponent, might step out and let K. Harris or G. Whitmer become the Democratic candidate?

Of course, if it will be djt vs. Biden, I'm with our current Pres. in every possible way.
