For one, Trump...specifically.....said at one time he would consider naming her his running mate (previous election).

Trump has been successful at trying to define his opponents. He uses those well-thought-out names for this purpose. Low Energy Bush. etc etc etc. In the primaries, he was up against people without that much name recognition, so he was able to define them. Against Hillary, there already were strong memes about her that were out there, and he capitalzed on them, Crooked Hillary, etc.

Oprah has more name recognition than Trump had when he was running. Heck, she was/is more of a media star than he ever was.
He won't be able to define Oprah in the same way he could other opponents.

Plus which people love Oprah. She has a tremendous amount of empathy with her guests, and this is in stark contrast to Trump's narcissism.

She has been underestimated every step of the way in her career.

I wouldn't count her out this time around.

I think she could beat Trump soundly. I don't think it would be even close.

Then the joy would be seeing Trump explode after being beaten soundly by a black woman....

The only thing better would be for Michelle Obama to run and beat him! She would have to be drafted for the job, but I would help with the draft!!!

Dream ticket: Oprah/Kennedy or Oprah/Michelle or Michelle/Oprah

Their whole argument is based off the idea..... NCTraveler Jan 2018 #1

Yes, turnout for her as our party's candidate ollie10 Jan 2018 #6
Helping to elect representation that fits her ideas is getting a seat at the table. NCTraveler Jan 2018 #7
But what if she wants to run herself? ollie10 Jan 2018 #10
