It will be trotted out from time to time when the public has forgotten the details and the fact that it isn't true, only to be refuted again and go dormant for another three months or so. This realm is populated by lurid stories of child sex rings in the non-existent basement of a pizza parlor, a story planted in 1961 that is exposed only 47 years later, or a mythical tape of the First Lady talking about "whitey."
