17. I am amazed, seriously amazed, at how dumb they can be in their beliefs and thinking.

There was a time when I was scornful or simply dismissive. Now, though? I'm amazed they get through the day without walking into traffic or shoving forks into wall sockets. Who stops them from using plastic bags as a toy and placing their heads inside?

They are a marvel - albeit one that is more akin to the unimaginable carnage of human potential - but still a marvel.

A wonder of self-satisfied obtuseness.

They are paeans to glorified ignorance.

Scary, dangerous, and seemingly immune to all attempts of learning...anything. Anything at all.

But I could be wrong.
