last night from the NYT about this. I am infuriated that the idiots that run KY sit there in their ivory towers and spend the day thinking up ways to make the needy jump through ridiculous hoops and deal with endless complicated paperwork. I really think they are sitting there snickering about how all their burdensome requirements will weed out the ones who "really want it". I agree with you, turbinetree, if I lived in KY I would be out in the streets protesting this nonsense, too.

What does it say about a country that makes it so needlessly difficult for a poor person to see a doctor? I am ashamed for what our country is becoming.
