14. I suspect that it's not only because Harry and Meghan are no fans of trump.

I'd guess there's concern that the British public would march or protest - which would wreck that special day for all of history. The British people are NO fans of trump, and with good reason. I would expect the palace would be VERY well aware of that, and wanting very seriously to have a royal wedding day proceed without any problems or public uproar. It wouldn't be a wonderful, peaceful, celebratory day if trump was there.

That young couple deserves to have THEIR day THEIR way. And so does their country.
