Of course, the bar has been set extremely low in the Age of Trumpism. But yes, ethical, honest representatives are essential. The public's sense of what Government can and should be doing needs to be reestablished, its credibility restored. For all our sakes. The Republicans have worked very hard to weaken governmental institutions, tear them down, thereby underscoring their theory that all governmental programs/institutions are inept, broken, corrupt.

That has to stop. We have to stop it, sooner rather than later.
