5. I don't think that the Democrats should do anything to help the GOP leverage right wing bigotry

DACA is in place for now. It's as much as President Obama could do while in office, and Democrats have even less power now.

Hispanics need to register and vote for people who will advance comprehensive, immigration legislation that doesn't leverage bigotry.

Some are saying that their young allies will lead the way. I have yet to see it. In Illinois, only 3% of vote eligible millenials voted in the primary. That's not going to do it. Perhaps this next post-Parkland cohort will be different.
