People look for a savior and are disappointed when their chosen one don't meet their expectations. I really wish that people like Nina Turner, Susan Sarandon, Cornell West, Ralph Nader would shut the hell up and study history back to the advent of the written word. What they will see is that true change has always been a long, often painful process. Their tendency is to look at one spot change and say that happened fast, I see the same lack of perspective from some writing here on DU - no, the changes did not happen fast, most were more than a century in the making, all took longer than 60 years.
