(1,639 posts)Except to point out that elected officials and others are being denied access to these places for the purposes of the most basic oversight to ensure that little children are being cared for humanely.
Maybe the reason for this is that the people behind it know that the whole situation is inhumane.
However, if anyone out there wants to proclaim that words like "inhumane" and "abuse" and "mistreatment" are an overstatement, then challenge them. Why not let any elected officials or media reporters or even child advocate officials in to visit? If the children are being cared for properly and their "housing" is adequate and entirely legal, why are the representaives of the public being told to essentially mind their own business?
If it is being done in the name of the American people, then the American people have a right to know all the details.
