Unfortunately, it's the good hearts that are the most vulnerable. I was like that as a youth, and now as a 70-Y.O. dad with more life experience than I ever asked for, I hope you can arm him with plenty of knowledge about the perils of life. Also teach him the art of self-reflection, as that's a tool that can save us in the worst of times.

I'm a highly sensitive person (HSP), and these are some of the most difficult times of my life. But, armed with some knowledge of what and who I am, I know I can struggle through it.

Best of luck and give him a big DU hug from all of us...... .......
