I cannot acknowledge The Asset as “president.” His “election” was illegitimate. Therefore he, too, is illegitimate. You don’t have a legitimate claim on a position you “win” because a hostile foreign power installed you in it. It means you work for that same hostile foreign power, not us. It means you work for that hostile foreign power’s interests, not ours.
