It's a reminder that none of these business people are on our side. Ever. Even if they say things that sound nice or maybe donate to some nice charities sometimes. Elon Musk is a corporate billionaire, which means he is on team corporate billionaire. If he thought about our needs, he wouldn't donate to the GOP, because doing so hurts us. But he doesn't care, and it serves his interest, so he does it. Same reason the rest of them do.
