If not for government subsidized infrastructure, they wouldn't be able to exploit workers the way they do. The nation wouldn't be as urbanized as it is, with concentrations of markets and work forces.

The poor is kept poor and middle class made poorer by a thousand little cuts everywhere and by a thousand little boosts from the rich buddy networks.
