A perfect Karl Rove-like tactic would be to have a accuser make allegations for the media and Democrats to pounce on, only to later have the accuser and/or the allegations be revealed as bogus, thus leaving Kavanaugh to be portrayed as a victim of a “left-wing smear tactic.”

Whatever is in the letter, I hope it's getting vetted like the world depends on it.

Frankly, I think the perjury should be enough to not only keep Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court, it should disqualify him from any judgeship. If anyone would want us talking about a letter instead of perjury, it's Kavanaugh.
