Sure, we are all reading the worst into every little thing about him right now. That is true. I didn't see the interview but what you described certainly does sound like she is an abused wife. If not physically, then mentally. You don't have to be physically violent to kill a person's dignity, self-respect, and will to live.

I was thinking he was too wimpy to be physical but he was a football player. He very well could be a physical and mental abuser.
