when prisoner, worker, and immigrant rights get thrown in there, along with poverty, education, parental rights and other stuff it gets really confusing.

Single issue advocacy has its advantages, but can cloud other issues and get people to walk away.

Never forget the guy who yelled "Keep the government away from my Medicare."

(I was in the local VA this week listening to a guy ranting about how the government screws everything up. I had no interest in asking him about the VA or the military that got him into the VA in the first place)
