If she knows real facts about the murder she’s in danger, and she would know it, so getting away from Trump’s protection (as an enabler of the the Saudis) would be idiotic.

If she doesn’t know then her resignation would make sense as a politically expedient move.

But you and the article are going on the assumption that she knew. If she did then wouldn’t she be protecting her life rather than looking to her political chances in 2 or 6 years?
