In reply to the discussion: URGENT---Check Your Early & Absentee Ballots Online NOW: Do NOT Yield to Voter Suppression! [View all]PandoraAwakened
(905 posts)Per the Georgia Secretary of State's own site for this election in which Kemp is on the ballot, it says, "Absentee by mail voting started on September 18, 2018. Advance in-person voting began on October 15, 2018 and runs through November 2, 2018." There is no way a vote for this election could have been cast before Sept. 18.
Are you aware of the breach that has occurred in Georgia? Take a look at the following story:

In particular, note the following from this article:
"Instead, several logged onto the My Voter Page to look at the code used to build the site something any Georgian voter could do with a little instruction and confirmed the voter registration systems vulnerabilities."
"It is not clear what impact if any the vulnerabilities identified will have on Tuesdays elections, or how they might have affected early voting. Voters should still go to the polls and, if they are encountering problems, ask to cast a provisional ballot as is their right."
Different Drummer, you need to call the Walton County Recorder's Office right now and inquire about your ballot. They should be able to tell you if you're good or not. Then, regardless of the county's answer, you need to take a screen shot of what you're telling me you're seeing when you are logged into the My Voter Page on the Sec. of State site. Also, take a picture with your cellphone.
If the county tells you that your vote isn't recorded, ask them whether you qualify to go vote with a Provisional Ballot. This can be tricky. In Arizona, state law is that if you do a provisional ballot and then your early ballot also magically shows up, your vote won't be counted because you've "broken the law" by voting twice. Talk to the county about this.
Also, here's the special Voter Protection Hotline set up by the Georgia Democrats: 1-888-730-5816. You can call them for advise as well.
Oh, I am so hoping the county does indeed have your vote and this is just more of Kemp's shenanigans on the Sec. of State site.
