you can train our youth to kill, send them half way across the globe for an extended period killing strangers that have done you no harm, and then they can come home and be perfectly normal in open society overnight.
This has been a sickness in societies all over the world at least since recorded time began, and I see little being done to change that attitude.

I'm guessing much of it has to do with the timing -- there aren't very good visuals by now.

Yeah, I heard one reporter mention it was the 8th mass shooting since the synagogue 11 days prior.
