All of the Allied men and women, who fought and sweated and bled and worried, those who died and those who carried their wounds, seen and unseen, for decades afterwards, deserve tremendous respect and credit.

Their generation was not perfect, but by God, when faced with threats that would make any thinking person blanch, they stood up and fought.

Bless 'em all.
