of when newbie Tea Party people first got elected to congress. They showed up and made a lot of noise for the media, but didn't actually accomplish anything. I don't think any of our newly elected representatives are anything like Tea Party members for the most part, but the inexperience and impulsive behavior is similar and just as ineffective.
When you are the new person in an established environment, you usually sit back, ask questions, and observe. A little bit of respect would also go a long way.
