So glad she made it through and is home. We did the same for my dad-in-love; he passed peacefully at home in his sleep a few months later, after barbecues, a trip across the Denali Highway (still mostly unpaved), lots of "kin" visits, etc.

FirstLight, you're doing the right thing. Ignore those who want to diss you for it.
