I bet someone will reply with a few local, non-chain pizza joints that are far better than the chains.

Yeah, the pizza may not be the equal of Chicago, but at least you don't have to trudge through the snow to get it.

This from a Detroiter who sympathizes with your plight of being in a warm land. Alligator tears, these.
