Pro's;
1. I'll "Zumba" longer than on the treadmill at the gym.
2. Both live classes and YouTube can add variety to your exercise...as opposed to a treadmill and hooking your headphones in to a tv channel.
3. If you like dancing to music, this will be enjoyable...but a bit much faster.
Con's;
1. The "routine's" can be a bit intimidating. Learned to forget trying to play catch up and just follow much as I can. The point is to keep moving.
2. I'm a male, and certain exercises require me to "adjust" the routine. I really don't need to strut my posterior or move my "chest". But that depends on the instructor.
Unknown;
1. I don't know which burns more calories, Zumba or the Treadmill.
2. How hard is on your joints? Depends on the routine I think.
As for anything specific. I think that's personal choice. My wife has her favorites...however, we keep mixing it up when it becomes a bit too "standard". We usually go for a routine that is at least 30 minutes, but usually do one 40 to 60. There are plenty of them less that 5 minutes, but you could probably create a list of several of them.
