His job was to inoculate the MAGA base against the reports and to give Repugs talking points forever more.

Details of the report, in a sense, won't matter, because there was no provable collusion with Russia.

Without absolute evidence, very little will happen to Trump but we'll argue about the "truth" for the next two years and beyond, and all the while underneath they will keep packing the court, removing environmental protections, increasing the deficit and preventing health care for women and the solvency of SS and Medicare.

Barr has utterely fulfilled his mandate.
