Former Acting Solicitor General and Democratic wunderkind Neil Katyal drafted the regulations for Special Council Investigations like the one Mueller apparently just concluded. I'm just saying this wasn't the way the results of SC investigations were normally released in the past and I'll just add that I don't think this is a good way to distribute such results. Especially with the DOJ controlled by the administration being investigated. We may never get to see anything unfavorable to Trump or his lackeys that was discovered by Mueller and team so long as Barr and the Trump DOJ control the flow of information.

Neil is a good guy and we've watched him do a minor apology tour within the friendlier parts of our media but this situation he created still sucks.
