The Dunning-Kruger effect has become a cornerstone of American ideals. You don’t need to listen to those fancy-pants scientists: You know as much, if not more than they do!

So far, this has gotten us Anti-Vaxers, Donald Trump, Q-Anon, Alex Jones truthers. What’s next? Shape-shifting lizards?
