lay the case out before all the people, most of whom still have no comprehensive understanding about Mueller’s findings and what those mean, really.
To rush this one shot at the king, would leave the public out of the loop, ensure congress does not convict, and ultimately hand Trump a victory.
Without first exhausting subpoena powers, hearing what witnesses they can, they would lessen their chances in court to expedite efforts to get favorable rulings to help them impeach.
They want to walk the American people through a graphic enactment of the report highlights and possibly uncover more leads.
Otherwise, many will view the House as overreaching and divisive.
Let Americans participate in the process and run proceedings up to the election.
