GOP senator applies for farm aid

1. I want the next Dem POTUS to sign a bill which exempts federal elected officials from just about

every single federal rebate/bailout/aid/benefits/etc. Constitutionally, Congress can only give themselves a pay raise which takes effect AFTER the subsequent election (i.e. so no guarantee it applies to the ones voting on the pay raise). By the same principle, any bailout/benefit enacted by a Congress should not apply to any member of that Congress (if it is a long-running program/rule, perhaps a cooling off period of a certain number of years out of Congress and then let it kick in, if warranted).
