(220 posts)and see who was the next person in line after it accepted or granted his deferment. Then track down that person and get a life history. In fact they should probably try to follow up on the next 10 people or so because all of them would have been bumped up and their life changed because of Trump's deferments. It would be a hell of a lot of work for a reporter, but those guys can do amazing things. And it would be one hell of a story if one of those draftees name is on the Memorial Wall in Washington.
I have a son in law that worked for an affiliate of NPR in Ok. until his outstanding work was noticed by The Center for Public Integrity which recruited him and offered him a job which he accepted and is now living and working in DC. He certainly has a fertile field to investigate lack of Public Integrity. I expect great things from him.
