So perhaps your concern is a bit premature:

I am truly concerned that it may become violent and I really, really don't want to go there. But what makes us immune to that? After all, we have been here before. As Franklin said when questioned about what kind of government had been founded: "A republic, if you can keep it."


Perhaps getting information from sources other than "The Intercept" and "In These Times" will give you a more accurate reporting of what "true patriots" are doing, and less unwarranted concern.
