to which they are totally beholden for emotional foundation. It's baked into the so-called conservative brain, and it's a sin to criticize the structure or any of its building blocks. The ones I've known don't get along well without it, or if it gets holes blasted in it (e.g., Nixon's downfall).

A typical right-wing one might look like this (with millions of variations):
* God
* Preacher
* POTUS
* Boss at work (payroll guy)
* Mom, dad and grandparents.
* Rush Limbaugh
* Senators and representatives
* Wife, siblings, friends and co-workers, etc.

The version discussed here relating to Falwell's statement is an extension of the prosperity gospel, which is one of the most evil twistings of religious theology I've ever seen.
