But Megan Rapinoe stands for the anthem (used to kneel, but she's prohibited from doing so) but she doesn't put her hand over her heart or sing. Of course, neither thing is "necessary" (and in my day, we put our hand over our hearts for the pledge, not the anthem). She got heat not only for kneeling way back when, but for not putting her hand over her heart and not singing.

I'm just pointing out a double-standard. I read plenty of wingers whining about her, and it wasn't just about kneeling.
