It's not just the developers. The backwater, shadow government that we keep talking about is composed of various elements. Everything about Florida's process requires tempting and compromising people in the community. One by one I got to see people getting turned, to the worst. I got to see how they used the best of civic organizations or used people's military experience as nothing more than a front.

It's more than the developers. It's about a grifter way of life. And if I had to begin cleaning up this problem, I would start with the lawyers who advance the problems with compromised legal advice.
