5. There is something else that is chilling about the Rotary Club.

We had dinner with a Rotarian that lived in another Florida city. As you might know, the organization had gone international. I was unaware of his affiliation to the Club until he brought it up in conversation. He started by talking about the good things the Rotary Club was responsible for. But then, he looked across the table to me and with dark eyes he said that as a member he can call any Rotarian in any City to find out background information on anybody in the community.

Resident Roil and the mayor in my city were back to back presidents of the local chapter. So I always felt that comment over dinner was another attempt to intimidate me.
