I think the other shoe to drop with Epstein is the financial aspect.

It seems that Epstein may be a corrupt businessman? Does he have dirt on other corrupt business people? Money laundering? Russian money?

I'm thinking that's why Barr has not recused from future prosecutions - where this may lead. If Epstein wants to offer up dirt to try to save his skin. He wants to know to bury it.

I do think it would be political kryptonite to try to pardon Epstein but we all know how Trump feels about trying to dig into his finances. If Epstein has anything on his finances then this will get really dicey.
