I remember Apollo 11 like it was yesterday. The manned exploration of space is a great to develop new technologies without all the war.

Something few today remember is John F. Kennedy’s brother, Joseph, died trying to knock out the NAZI V-2 sites, rockets developed by Werner von Braun, who would come to the US after the war and helped develop the Saturn V.
