6. I've lived in El Paso most of my 71 years and

because we are the stepchild of Texas, we belong and yet we don't belong, we're isolated and we embrace our isolation and we are proud of our dual culture...we are neighbors and friends and we marry and raise our children and cherish our grandchildren...labels nothing to us..we're family.. we will mourn and rail against the monsters who changed us forever..children in cages and now mass murder...we don't need to "come together" because we were never apart..
