The main difference between me at age 79 and when I was 39 is it takes much longer to heal any injury.
I am sure you are experiencing the same thing as you get older.
I do treadmill every other day so my muscular strength is holding up, but have to be careful to avoid injuries.

I have not come across any big snakes like pythons here in NE Florida, I think they are more in the southern FL swamps.
But have seen snakes, scorpions, large spiders, fire ants (their bites are brutal and get infected), and cockroaches.
