In reply to the discussion: Is something wrong with trump's left arm? [View all]tblue37
(65,227 posts)70. I think he had a transient ischemic attack (TIA). Notice that yellow envelope tucked tightly
against his left side in the video of him walking to the car. Trump doesn't carry things. He has people for that. I think it was to disguise his inability to move the arm. Also, the missing tie? You need two hands to tie one.
A TIA is, or course, temporary, so he wouldn't suffer permanent paralysis from it. I had a TIA in July of 2005. My right arm flipped like a noodle when I tried to use it and I couldn't speak anything but floppy gibberish for a few minutes. Trying to dial a phone to get help was almost impossible.
It's a ministroke, but because the blockage is temporary, the effects resolve themselves after a while. However, it is a warning sign that in the future you might face a big stroke.

He more or less holds his left hand in place and claps his right hand into it.

If he doesn't play golf this weekend in Florida, we'll know something is up.

He appears to be using his arms normally in this short clip from tonight's rally.
