I'll refer you to this post I put up for Thanksgiving that reflects most of my feelings during the holidays - mostly contrary to that of our society.

I only got two replies but it helped me just to write it out for emotional relief. I have so many simple things of life to be grateful for, and need to get off my butt and help a neighbor.
